VILLA VIA HOTEL, GORDONS BAY

Block accommodation bookings have been arranged at Villa Via Hotel where the workshop will be held. Please complete the accommodation reservation form and return directly to the hotel before 31 August 2009. A deposit equal to one night's stay is required to secure the reservation. Thereafter, accommodation will only be available on a first come first serve basis.

The Hotel boasts 90 luxury self-catering rooms with views of both the sea and the Helderberg mountains or the private Harbour Island marina.

Listed below are details of our different room types: All rooms are available at the same rate and will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.

The hotel's standard rooms, either twin or king size rooms, with stunning sea views. Each room has an en-suite bathroom with separate bath and shower, kitchenette with microwave, kettle, convection oven, bar fridge and cutlery/crockery. All standard rooms also have a private balcony overlooking the ocean, sleeper couch and satellite TV.

The Villa Via Hotel has 36 one-bedroom marina facing suites that consist of one bedroom (either king size or twin), en-suite bathroom with separate shower and corner bath, open plan lounge, dining room and kitchenette. The lounge has a TV with satellite channels as well as a sleeper couch that can accommodate children wanting to share with parents. The kitchenette consists of a convection oven, microwave, kettle, bar fridge, crockery and cutlery for four persons and a small washbasin. The units are serviced daily and coffee/tea is provided.

The hotel has 14 duplex units that consist of one bedroom with en-suite bathroom situated on the first level and open plan lounge with dining room, kitchenette and en-suite shower bathroom downstairs. There is a television with satellite channels in both the bedroom and the lounge. The kitchenette consists of a convection oven, microwave, kettle, bar fridge, crockery and cutlery for four persons and a small washbasin. The units are serviced daily and coffee/tea is provided.

The hotel has two 2-bedroom units that consist of 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen with oven, kettle, microwave, fridge, crockery and cutlery and full basin. It also has an open plan lounge and dining room with satellite TV. The units are serviced daily and tea/coffee is provided.

Reservation Policy for Accommodation Reservations at the Villa Via Hotel

1. All rates quoted include VAT at the prevailing rate of 14% but exclude government room levy.
2. Accommodation will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
3. A deposit covering one nights’ accommodation (on an individual basis) is required to secure your reservation at the hotel.
4. The accommodation reservation form must be returned as soon as possible (before 31 August 2009) to the Villa Via Hotel, Gordons Bay.
5. Should you book accommodation telephonically, please remember to mention that you are booking for the Delta 2009 Conference in order to qualify for the special reduced rates. Should you refrain to do so, the hotel might inform you that they are fully booked.
6. The hotel will confirm your accommodation reservation directly with you.
7. Any confirmed bookings that are cancelled, are subject to the following cancellation penalties:
   • 25% cancellation fee on total booking if cancelled 31-60 days prior to arrival.
   • 50% cancellation fee on total booking if cancelled 15-30 days prior to arrival.
   • 100% cancellation fee on total booking if cancelled 14 days or less prior to arrival or in the event of a no show.

Non arrival of confirmed Reservations will result in a no show penalty equal to 100% of the nightly Corporate Rate per room not taken up per night for the full stay period.

Alternative accommodation

We have negotiated a reduced rate at the Ocean View Hotel. Rooms are available at:

• Single: R630 per person per night (Bed & Breakfast)
• Sharing: R430 per person per night (Bed & Breakfast)

Transport is required, however there will be a daily transfer to the conference venue and back (this will be at a scheduled time) and this can be booked directly with the hotel at R50 per person per day (i.e. R25 one way per day). Please book this with your accommodation booking.
